Hi, I'm Asim Baral

My work centers on distributed data systems. I design data domains, event-driven pipelines, and large-scale feeds, and I focus on correctness under concurrency and failure. I also mentor engineers and lead designs from requirement to launch.

I hold a B.S. and an M.S. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, both with a 4.0 GPA, with a concentration in Intelligence and Information Internetworks. Before Amazon, I completed two software engineering internships at American Express and served as a senior graduate teaching assistant for Database Systems.
